Sue Garmonsway has been employed by Gallie Miles for six years, first as a Solicitor and more recently as an Associate of the firm.

 Sue provides advice to both Local Authority and private clients in the areas of resource management, the Public Works Act, the Reserves Act, and local government and regulatory issues. She is responsible for representing the Waipa District Council and the Otorohanga District Council in respect of enforcement matters under the Resource Management Act. Sue has also provided advice to local authority and private clients on commercial and property transactions.

 Sue has experience in the District Court and the Environment Court. She has experience in defending clients in effluent discharge prosecutions. She has also represented private clients in the District Court, Environment Court and the High Court.

 She holds a Master of Arts degree in history, an Honours Law degree and has recently completed a Diploma in Environmental Studies.
