Kirsty McDonald has been in practice since 1994 and joined Gallie Miles in January 2009. Kirsty is an experienced lawyer with a wide range of experience including a background in property and commercial law. Immediately before joining Gallie Miles Kirsty spent seven years in the Dispute Resolution Team at Harkness Henry specialising in Construction Law and general civil and commercial Litigation where she developed strong negotiation and advocacy skills. Kirsty has experience in the District and High Court as well as a range of specialist Tribunals and has appeared in the Court of Appeal. Since joining Gallie Miles has acted for both the Waipa District Council and the Otorohanga District Council and private clients on a wide range of resource management and local government issues. Kirsty holds a Law Degree from Waikato University.
