Valerie Mackay has practiced as a lawyer since 1979, initially in Australia, and for the past 20 years in New Zealand. Valerie joined John Gallie and Linda Miles in partnership in 1994. Valerie has a real interest in all property matters and subdivisions. As well as acting for private clients, she has carried out a large volume of work in these areas for the Waipa District Council and the Otorohanga District Council. She has also given advice to these Councils in relation to Resource Management, Local Authority and Building Act issues. She takes a “solution based” approach to client’s problems. Valerie also provides business and commercial advice. Trusts, estates and succession planning are Valerie’s other main areas of practice. Valerie holds Bachelor of Arts (majoring in economics) and Law degree.
