  1. Break your goals down – what are your key actions in the next 90 days towards achieving your goals?
  1. Accountability – have someone in or out of your business that will make sure you implement your actions.
  1. Don’t be an island – tap into the resources around you.  Join your local Chamber of Commerce, attend free seminars, join online groups such as Linked In.
  1. Work on your business – set time aside to implement your business plan.  Make this time sacrosanct.
  1. Network, network, network – every person you meet who knows what you do could lead you to your next customer.
  1. Don’t let a “No” put you off – persistence pays off.
  1. Love your lawyer and your accountant – make sure you have great advisors on your team.
  1. Surround yourself with A Players – if you have a team member who is not a good fit, don’t bury your head in the sand.  Work out what needs to change and get advice on your options to address non-performers.
