Renee Dunn

Renee, a trusted member of the Gallie Miles team since 2021, specialises in trusts, estates and asset planning, including Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney.

Her expertise extends to estate administration, applications to the Court for the appointment of Property Managers and Welfare Guardians under the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act, and advising on intergenerational family living arrangements, including Property Sharing Agreements. Renee also regularly advises clients on retirement village occupation right agreements and matters relating to family trusts.

Renee takes a practical and down-to-earth approach to legal advice and enjoys helping clients understand their options and put the right arrangements in place for themselves and their families. Her empathetic and patient nature has helped her build strong and lasting relationships with her clients, particularly when guiding individuals and families through challenging circumstances and sensitive decisions.

Growing up on a dairy farm in rural Te Awamutu, Renee has a strong connection to the rural community and farming continues to be a part of her life today. Having spent many of her weekends and school holidays milking cows for pocket money, she understands firsthand the work and commitment that goes into the farming lifestyle.

Outside of work, Renee enjoys hunting, exploring New Zealand with her rooftop tent, and spending time with friends, family and her pets. Renee also volunteers with Community Law and Citizens Advice Bureau.
